Smoke Detector Program
Each
year in the United States, thousands of people die or are
severely injured by fires and burns. One of the most effective
ways to prevent death and injuries from fires is to install and
maintain smoke detectors in households.
The Selah Fire Dept. started a program installing a smoke
detectors in residences that don’t currently have one. This
program doesn’t replace existing smoke detectors or add smoke
detectors to any home, but will hopefully decrease the number of
death and injuries from fire in our community. |
